OK I tested and the game also works with extracted files. So I am making new release.

The patch is no problem. The update is problem.

There is a little problem. I started making the new patch but I found out it is 2GB LOL. Valve is using the new vpk format and now the updates are stored in big vpk files so it is problematic to make update.

You wont be able to do that in hexedit. client.dll is generated to work in Z and there is no changing it.

NO cd/dvd. You should mount it as HDD partition 0.

Setti is dead long time ago. I am working on that too. But there is to much works I cant handle it all alone.

People I am doing everything I can. steamclient.dll is 10MB. It has 180 interfaces. It is over 10000 lines of C++ code.

WTF? RevLoader works better with debugger? I can't believe in that. Can you tell me what function is using from kernel32? I can try and hook it with the emulator. BTW I have the source code of RevLoader and revemu but there is no such think.

I have good news. My emulator is working on windows 8. The problem is that nothing else is working like achievements or server browser. I need to program that too. :D The next patch will be bundled with the emulator.

How's that possible? In the patch it is included the latest emu...

I am working every day on it. Now the game starts, I can join servers but I can't play offline with bots. I am missing some interfaces.

Yes rev-emu is making problems on windows 8

1. Mine wont contain 2 mb of code just to advertise, track, and collect data form peoples PCs. 2. It will not be able to launch CEG game without image emulation.
