I just Completely Uninstalled the game, and by that I mean 1. Uninstall using control Panel, 2. Deleted the leftover files, 3. deleted the registry point "Valve". I installed the game again, it Runs Perfectly, BUT it still crashes when changing a setting or play offline, I just want to play it!! I don't wanna play Online anymore! I'm using Windows 8.1 Pro x64

Follow this Instructions to make it work: 1.Completely Delete the Previous Version. 2. go to "Run" and type "regedit" without quotes, find "HKEY_CURRENT_USER" > "Software" > then find "Valve" and delete it by right click and select Delete. 3.Log out of Steam,Install the New Game, then the update, then the Patch. 4.Mount the Image using exactly these settings, Partition "0" , Read Only, Drive Letter "Z", Drive Type "HDD" 5.Log in to Steam. 6.Run the game from the Desktop Shortcut. Note: on Windows 8.1 it worked, but when you try to change ANY setting or play a game it will Crash, we have to wait for SmartPlay to Update the Patch.
