if you go into steam,you have to delete steamclient.dll in css folder after.if hl2.exe stopped,it may be you click choose the server too quick before the server page fully loaded.(i tasted before)

smarty,u know a legal one just cost $15 , but it's no use for me,cause i can't join any server,because of my location&ping, and if i could join in,dont be kicked,i also didnt like the way they run the game,so i ve no choice,u should understand,the only one that i like is ............(u know)

did you have the game test your gpu? most older intregated gpu didnt work.

smarty i do as Hagrid tell, it turn" hl.exe stop working" so i patch with http://89.205.123.68/patch.zip and now it works ,very funny ,thanks Hagrid &Smarty.

thankyou admin i have just found your e-mail relating update 52 (the last one maybe).i use winxp so there no problem at all ,it sometime appear hl.exe has stopped working,i just re-paste the formerly downloaded steamclient.dll to cs folder,it worked.
