Guys till I knew.... the weapon shine was controlled by the Shader Quality option under advanced Video settings.... If any one has that set to low then the weapon finish appears to be Matte..... and setting it to very high gives it the glossy finish.... were you guys speaking of this??

Bro I think you might be wrong in this place..... You see there are many devs around these days so its better not to fight and do whatever you guys are doing to improve the game and the thing is Faded Zebra doesn't look like this.... I own the original game for a long time now..... and the inventory works in a manner of skydrive.... where the skins combination of the materials are stored.... in-game only those are retrieved and applied over the stock weapon..... so if anyone can modify the read source of the skydrive..... he can possibly create any weapons.... even stat-traks also! I myself can be wrong too..... but till now what I saw... this is the actual thing that happens..... and about learning from SmartPlay, you are right about that...... he is one of the best devs over here! :)

Bro this isn't actually how a skin looks.... neither there is a skin which looks like these officially...... its a bug caused in the CS:GO when there is an error retrieving an item from the inventory.... this happens in the original game.... anyways Keep working on the fix..... maybe you'll get it! Oh my god.... guys please don't start again!!! -_- The game just got updated so you can't play on any servers now.... Wait for it... the devs will give us a patch when they are ready! :) And you you guys aren't sure if there is a new update or not, just check HLTV.org..... In the news section you'll get updates about the new releases or fixes Valve is doing in CS:GO!

Sorry for this but guys can someone upload the patch or torrent for me on a mirror site..... actually adf.ly is blocked on my ISP so can't get to the download! :/

Bro please read the previous replies before posting in this thread...... The CSGOLauncher is not meant for Win8 / 8.1 right now.... so it wont work.... SmartPlay is trying his best to solve it.... :)

People who are too eager to play CS:GO and are on Win 8 / 8.1..... please install Win 7...... if you wanna keep your previous Windows then just go for a dual boot..... As SmartPlay said he can't fix the launcher for Win8/8.1 its better if people stop posting about it over here. The fix is gonna take time and I think SmartPlay is gonna inform us after he fixes the problem. You may test the launchers that SmartPlay develops but if it doesn't work then no point posting about it here, if it works by chance then I guess its a good thing to post.... :) But till then since SmartPlay said the launcher is for Win 7 and XP only so problems related to these should be helpful in my point of view....

Bro for low end PCs Win 7 is faster...... Win8 and 8.1 contains many unnecessary animations and stuff.... :/ And the transparency in Win 7 looks better! :P :P

Hey Pizzadox, making a new launcher is not that easy as it looks.... and if you can help in anyways I guess Smartplay would appreciate it but comments like these are not at all helping... SmartPlay already knows about the update release... so just wait for him i.e. if he decides to release another update for the Junkies release soon. 1.31.3.0 doesn't have any major gameplay upgrades so updating to the lastest doesnt always help. If you wanna play CS:GO with your friends 1.31.2.0 can do the job.... and if you are impatient and wanna play on valve servers just go and buy the game and support the devs a bit! Bro you can change your resolution as Terra said but the problems you are discussing about looks like you are trying to play the game in Win8/8.1... is it so?? Because the launcher is not that much stable in Win XP and Win 8/8.1.... Wait for somedays surely Smartplay will update the launcher! :)

Nicely done SmartPlay...... for me it works perfectly in Win 7 (both x64 and x86) and no crashes for the "Options" part too and as for Windows 8.1 (mine is x64)....... I am able to launch the game and main menu and map selection part is working alright...... after then Bot play or Options or Achievements or Watch.... almost clicking on anything results to a crash.... Nice work.... keep it up..... I think you're almost there! :) :D

You wont be able to go online now because all the CS:GO servers are now running on a higher version as they were updated by Valve.... which means we need to update our game..... and SmartPlay is doing whatever he can to make the updated CS:GO work..... So just keep calm and Wait for the Updater+Patcher from SmartPlay!! :D And GL to SmartPlay!! :D

This is the latest RevEmu.... which I am using currently..... @SmartPlay did you include this one?? http://rghost.net/private/49763567/c675c55c8d7f9c0df001b483f4003b5d Can someone also do this to check whether it solves the crashes.... Just copy over the files from the csgo folder in the zip to your installed folder.... see if it fixes the crashes.... Oh and one more thing... in rev.ini file change the Language from Russian to English.. or else you'll end up with a Russian Language of the game! :D

Dude use OSFmount..... and while mounting the image, mount it as an HDD and use the Partition 0 in the image. Other softwares wont work. Just download OSFmount and use it. :)

@SmartPlay : Bro the CS:GO crashes everyone was talking about in Windows 7... I also encountered them.... then I tried the newer version of the RevEmu..... Its working fine still now! Not yet crashed a single time except for the time in map change..... You might wanna look into this! :)

Which software are you using to mount it? Use OFSmount.... and don't mount the whole image, it will make the drive inaccessible. Select the other option while mounting! :)
