thanks Smartplay and zther .. now its working again ... @zther - I kind of partially followed your instruction ... I have not deleted any files or folders.. Just opened junkies client as admin > checked "verify all" and clicked "install/update" > after finishing update I closed the junkies client > then again started junkies client as admin > checked "verify all" and clicked patch > after patching clicked "create shortcut" > closed junkies client > ran the desktop CS:GO shortcut as admin > black-screen for few seconds and the Game Starts ..... :) :D :) THanks again to Smartplay and everyone else in this forum for your continuous support ... hello everyone .. I just want to know one thing .. Do I need to install steam to get this working ?? I installed the game and junkies client properly .. After many tries and applying different methods, I was able to start the game and play the game offline with bots .. But it never worked with my internet connection turned on .. It only worked with my internet connection turned off. But the sad thing is that today I accidentally started the game with my internet connection turned on for once and now it not working anymore .. not even when I start the game offline .. the same old problem appears ..black screen for few seconds then back to desktop ... updated and patched everything but nothing worked.. So all I want to know is that do i need to install STEAM to make it work online... ??
