Un-check Verify All and try Install/Update again.

That's because some registry key is missing after you re-install Windows 7, you need to run Junkies Client as admin, click Install/Update with Verify all checked, then re-patch. Just do the same to your brother's PC. I had this error too after I refreshed Windows 8. :D

New issue in 25.0.0.5, the buttons and combo box aren't re-enabled after finishing installation, so I had to close Junkies Client and run it again to patch. Besides, the version box wasn't updated accordingly. Is it possible to replace Patch button with an Auto-patch checkbox, when it's checked, the client will download patch files automatically after updating?

Chỉ cần mở Junkies Client vá»›i quyá»n admin (nếu bạn Ä‘ang dùng win vista trở lên), click Install/Update, chá» cho game download xong rồi click Patch, sau đó đổi nickname nếu muốn, rồi click Create Shortcut từ client, chạy game từ shortcut đó cÅ©ng vá»›i quyá»n admin. Có gì phức tạp đâu. :wacko: Note: bạn ở VN thì nên mở Client download và o buổi sáng từ 8g đến 14g, ÃÂt phải chá» hÆ¡n các lúc khác.

Run the client and download official CS:GO (non-beta) from Junkies, then click Patch. I saw this error before in my desktop pc running winxp, it's because of client.dll is not patched, instead of showing blackscreen and out to desktop, it threw a debugger msg and "engine error".

Yes, SteamCMD is free to use, but you can't download games that you don't own. For example, you can use SteamCMD to download Team Fortress 2 bcos it's free, but you can't download games that you haven't purchased. In the screenshot below, I tried to download Skyrim, CS:GO and CS:S and got "no subscription" error. <-- no license.

SteamCMD is used mostly to download dedicated server files of many Source games. Check this link to see what games are supported: https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/SteamCMD If you purchased CS:GO via Steam, yes, you can download the game using SteamCMD, just open it and type the following commands: login <username> <password> This is the account which you used to buy CS:GO, after logging in, you'll be asked for Steam Guard code (if you have Steam Guard enabled), check your email and enter it. Then type: app_update 730 validateAfter the download finished, type "quit" and Enter to exit steamcmd.

Sorry, my bad. After 06/05/2013 update, it says "You have launched the game in insecure mode from outside of Steam or with -insecure flag. Your game files signatures will not be validated and you will not be allowed to join VAC secure servers." So I replaced -insecure param with -steam , the game runs perfect now. (dunno why it was missing :mellow: ) ~thread closed~
