Same here, I got it working on Windows 8, then I tried to install CSGO on Windows XP SP3 and got this error. I installed almost all versions of .NET Framework and C++ runtime library, I don't know what I'm missing. :wacko: Is there anybody successfully run JunkiesLoader on Windows XP? Please help.

yes, there is a stats.bin file in Counter-Strike Global Offensive folder. You can move or copy this file to somewhere else then let your brother play the game.

Yes, you can play both version on one PC, there are two things to remember that after you play Steam CSGO, you must run the disablesteam reg fix before playing non-Steam CSGO, and your stats and achievements in non-steam version cannot be transfered to steam version and vice versa.

SmartPlay, could you fix the bug where the Junkies Client does not shut down properly after installing/patching games and still occupy 50% CPU resource in Task Manager? This happens in all versions of Windows.

Just run JunkiesLoader as administrator.

I'm sure the stats.bin file contain your stats and achievements, but the in-game name is not fixed, for example, you can use my stats.bin and vice versa. :lol: It's like a gamesave, you can copy it to another computer and continue playing CSGO.

try adding these lines to game.cfg file (in csgo/cfg folder) mp_autoteambalance 0 bot_join_team ct mp_limitteams 4...then play the game, join t side as normal. If you want to add more ct bots, type bot_add ct and increase mp_limitteams value to 5, 6, or 7 and so on. Have fun :D

Didn't you read the note? "In step 6, do not attempt to load the map directly, you'll get "Steam validation rejected" error". You can't play any map while you're running no-steam CSGO on Steam. Just follow my guide and everything will be fine.

Just run Steam again. FYI, the disablesteam reg fix just temporarily clear the InstallPath registry key value in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Valve\Steam, this will force csgo to use cracked Steam client instead of legit Steam. When you run Steam, this key will be reset to "C:\Program Files\Steam" (default). Then if you want to play csgo no-steam, you have to exit Steam completely and run the reg fix again.

Run Junkies Client as administrator and click Patch. It will download required files (JunkiesLoader.exe, rev.ini, client.dll, etc...) Don't log in planetcss.com while using the client. And for god sake, please search before posting, you're not the only one having problem, this thread is 116 pages long already.

The point is, which mode are you playing? Each mode has its own setting about round limit, win limit, bot count, bot difficulty, etc...and stored in different config files in Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\cfg folder. Check it for yourself, remember to make a backup copy before editing. :)

lol. Most of the workshop maps I got is just the simplified version of 8 classic maps (cs_italy_se, cs_office_se, de_dust_se, de_dust2_se, de_nuke_se, de_train_se, de_inferno_se, de_aztec_se) plus 2 control point maps and 1 fight yard map. I don't download custom maps bcos they don't have radar image and area names. By the way, could you move this thread below to CSGO section? Did you forget something? Make sure you patched the game properly, if you can run it via JunkiesLoader, it will work on Steam as well. Try re-check step 4 and 5, the main .exe for the Steam shortcut must be csgo.exe, not JunkiesLoader. And remember to run registry fix before running CSGO on Steam.

Don't browse Junkies forum and update the game at the same time, since the client use your forum account to connect to server.

You can open the rev.ini file with Notepad and edit your name there.

We all are people who wants to play CSGO but unable or don't want to buy it :D. I want to bring us one more step closer to be like other legit Steam users: Able to download and play custom maps from Steam Workshop. I. PREPARATION: 1. Steam: Of course, it is required to download CSGO maps. And a Steam account also, if you don't have an account, create one here. 2. A successfully patched and working CSGO copy: I believe you got it. II. INSTRUCTION: 1. First, you should login to Steam and go to Steam Workshop, or go to the link below and log in, then browse and subscribe to your desired maps (click the [+] button on each map). http://storefront.steampowered.com/v/gfx/apps/730/extras/WorkshopPageBanner.png 2. In LIBRARY section on Steam, you have to create a non-steam shortcut to the game: Click ADD A GAME => Add a Non-Steam Game... 3. A new window appears, check on Counter-Strike Global Offensive and click ADD SELECTED PROGRAMS. 4. Now right-click on the shortcut you just created, choose Properties. Then change JunkiesLoader.exe to csgo.exe and click CLOSE. 5. Keep Steam running, go to Junkies Client folder and run the disablesteam registry fix. Now you can go back to Steam window and click PLAY. Upon launching the game, you should see a couple of intro screens right away (no black screen). Click PLAY => OFFLINE WITH BOTS as usual, then switch to MAPS WORKSHOP tab, the maps you subscribed earlier in step 1 is being downloaded. You can also click VIEW WORKSHOP, an in-game browser will open and you can subscribe more maps. :) 6. After the download is finished, quit CSGO and exit Steam as well. Before you run JunkiesLoader.exe to play CSGO, go to Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\maps\workshop folder. You'll see some folders which name contains a unique id. Inside each of these folder is the map file (.bsp) and 2 thumbnails. Move the map file and preview image back to maps folder and rename the image file to the same name as the map. Example: cp_dust2.bsp & cp_dust2.jpg 7. Finally, you can play the game via JunkiesLoader shortcut. In the console window, type map [map_name] [game_mode] to load the map. Gamemode alias: deathmatch, armsrace, demolition, casual, competitive, custom. Example: map cp_dust2 custom III. NOTE: - Each time you want to run the shortcut in Steam to download maps, you have to run the registry fix first, or else the game will show a black screen and out to desktop(very fast). - In step 6, do not attempt to load the map directly, you'll get "Steam validation rejected" error. - If you leave the map inside its own folder in workshop and load it from there, the game will freeze. <--verification needed. Yes, you can copy the game files to your USB flash drive, paste in your friend's PC, then verify all and patch. Have fun :)

Re-install CSGO is a pain in the @$$, unless you have CSGO files stored on your HDD. :D Here you go, this is not quite a default file, bcos I added a few mapgroups to each mode, but it's working fine. Enjoy. gamemodes.txt

Maybe your in-game name contains unrecognized characters or bad words? :D Try something readable like "Reaper51". Your internet connection dropped while waiting in queue. Just check your connection and try again. Try deleting those ssfn[random numbers] files in Junkies Client folder and re-run the client.
