  1. I got v12232 and connected to that server succesfully. You should update the game and try to connect again.
  2. I think after 12231 update, hostages can't be killed, they only take damage. When you pick up a hostage, you're carrying an undead. LMAO Just click Install/Update and the login promt will pop out, then you can enter your login id and password. After the 1st time it will be stores, next time when you click Install/Update or Patch you'll be put in queue like usual. :)
  3. In cs_italy map, I can rescue the hostage in the house by standing below and untie him. Then he falls through the floor onto my shoulder. =) This trick work when the hostage is at the balcon as well. Screenshot: http://oi45.tinypic.com/2eupzl0.jpg You can't rescue hostage through wall though.

I really don't get why people are having so much trouble with Windows 8. :mellow: Its security is quite tough so you need to take 1 extra simple step to avoid all the problems: RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR http://i352.photobucket.com/albums/r324/tpkhanh89/contextmenu_zpsf9caac10.png OR http://i352.photobucket.com/albums/r324/tpkhanh89/revloader_zps4ef0121f.png I installed CSGO succesfully on both my laptop and my brother's, all running windows 8. :D
  5. lol Try again then, put the whole junkies client directory to your antivirus exclusion (sounds nonsense but who knows? :rolleyes:) then patch again.
  6. Until the game is succesfully updated, yes. Remember to run the client as administrator (if you're using windows 7 or 8), then check Verify all (it should be checked as default), then Install/Update, if you see the client is downloading something around 30mb, it means the game is being updated properly. After that you have to patch again. Good luck.
  7. The client doesn't auto-download update. You have to check it yourself http://store.steampowered.com/news/?feed=steam_updates&appids=730 I updated the game to 12232 and connected to that server succesfully, then I was kicked out due to excessive ping :D FYI, the update size is around 29.73mb
  8. I guess you're using windows 7 or 8. You have to run the game with admin right. Right click on the game icon and choose Run as administrator, you have to do this everytime you want to play the game. However, there's another way: Right click on revLoader.exe, choose Properties, and then go to Compatibility tab, check Run this program as an administrator. From now on you can just doubleclick on the game and it will run well. Have fun!
  9. How about editing avatar.dat and avatar1.dat (in Junkies Client\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\platform)? I wonder if it's possible, I could replace the CSGO logo with my avatar. :D I just don't know how to do it.
  10. 3 times on my laptop (win 8) and 1 time on desktop (win xp), all on default directory (it was v16 i think). There was once when I tried to install CSGO in C:\Program Files (x86)\Junkies Client, then I had "not enough disk space" error. So I reinstalled the game in E:\Program Files\Junkies Client\, it worked perfectly. However, in the past hour, I tried again: Uninstalled junkies client and delete some files and folders like you told me before. Then I ran Junkies Client Setup as admin, and moved the remaining files all the way to C:\Program Files (x86)\Junkies Client\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive. Then I run the client as admin, verify -> install/update & patch. --> Miracle appeared, no error. :D One picture worth more than a wall of text, so check it out. PS: My VGA card is onboard, so I have to run the game at 800:500, with lowest graphic setting. :P
  11. Yes, I downloaded the game via junkies client. I've downloaded the whole bundle like 4 times, so I assure it's faster than any torrents out there (except the queue). :D This is the text instruction summarized from Terra's video. I haven't tried it, maybe next update I will. In Counter-Strike Global Offensive folder, delete all files except the folders. Then go to bin folder, delete Steam folder Back out and go to csgo folder, delete the bin folder and steam.inf file. Open Junkies client (given you have v22 or newer), check Verify all then click Install/Update. Wait for your turn, after that the client will verify game files and redownload missing files. When all the above steps are done, all you have to do now is to patch the game (remember to check Verify all before patching) and enjoy.
  12. Just want to help you guys to find more non-steam servers and enjoy CSS. I've already tried this myself with CSS v61 and it worked very well. However, there are still a few servers that are using older version. But it's not a big deal. Good luck and have fun! :D Instruction: Install Counter-Strike Source Download the Latest Game Patch and install it to your computer. Start Tunngle and join the Counter-Strike Source Tunngle Network. Start the game as your normally would. From the Main Menu Choose "Find Servers" and select the LAN tab. Join any game from the list or create your own. Enjoy!Download Tunngle here PS: Tunngle Network supports CSGO as well.
  13. I myself use Windows 8, but I installed CSGO in a different partition other than C:, so I never had 'not enough disk space' error. Just remember to run apps with admin right (if necessary), then everything will be fine. :D
  14. Try zther's method: ;) In Junkies Client folder, run unins000.exe to uninstall the client. Then delete everything, keep steamapps folder. Go to steamapps folder, delete everything, keep common folder. Go straight to Counter-Strike Global Offensive folder, delete everything, keep bin, csgo and platform folder. Download and install latest version of Junkies Client. Then try Install/Update & Patch again.I got this error before, when i tried to run the game. Maybe the client.dll file (in Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\bin) was broken or not patched. :mellow:
  15. Click Settings and enter your login info there, then OK. Now everytimes you click Install/Update or Patch, you just have to wait for your turn, when the queue ends, the client will do its job. I like this update, it saves me plenty of time. :D @SmartPlay: One suggestion: Could you add sound notification when some error like "Server response error" or "Connection timeout", etc...appears? Just 1 .wav file for every error types. Thank you. ^_^

    Let me tell you, dude. Even update 100 can't fix "Steam validation reject" error. THIS IS FROM THE SERVER YOU ARE TRYING TO CONNECT, WHICH IS NOT YET PATCHED, NOT YOUR VERSION OF CSS.

  18. Is the server dead? :blink: I uninstalled and then reinstalled the client but it still get this error.

You can choose any directory as you like, for example: X:\Program Files\Junkies Client\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive X:\Program Files\Counter-Strike Global Offensive or even X:\Counter-Strike Global Offensive and yes, you need to update the game if you haven't, then patch it.
