The server you are trying to play on is probably not properly patched. You need internet connection to generate a client.dll file and that file is unique for every pc else no-one would have been able to play it because everyone would have the same fake steam id. And that I think is generated by using the id of the HDD. So another way would be to make a copy of the game on your bro's HDD , replace your HDD with your bro's ,install/update and patch it . Then give him his HDD back , and it should be running . Or else if you use a donngle then you can give it to him, if you have a broadband then you can get his pc to your home (if possible) and then use your internet connection with his pc by connecting your modem's lan wire to his pc , or the best would be to activate internet on phone just for 1 day maybe and then using a data cable with his pc - update and patch the game. Well , maybe the video is old . The game is steampiped and it means that most of the data is contained within the *.vpk files. To edit them you will need GCFscape. Well the server that you try to connect is maybe not patched properly or not correctly updated because when you try to connect to any server which uses a map that you don't have then it starts downloading it to your pc and you can connect to the servers. Delete the appmanifest file of the game and then use the client

It is because you can't connect to the servers maybe because of a firewall or your internet connection gets disconnected , BTW you can still resume. Do not be browsing the forums while using the client

It is a driver problem,.,., some of your driver is probably wrong. You can try this -- Disable your Sound Card, Video Adapter, and Network Adapter one by one and reboot .This way you can find which driver is wrong and fix them.

Open junkies client change your nickname and repatch and create shortcut , OR open up the rev.ini file and in there change your nickname. Yeah you can copy paste it to your bro's pc but to make it run you need to first update it on his pc and then patch it so that client.dll gets generated for him.

Well my internet was not working for a few days so i just tested the new updated CS:GO black screen. The fix is that do not use the reg fix , instead install steam . The regfix blanks out the location of installed steam but right now the game requires steam to run and therefore the key should be present.

The junkies client doesn't use its own protocols for download . It uses the steam server to download and update the game and steam uses HTTP . The patch is downloaded through planetcss but P2P will be useless since it generates the client from the steam servers and not through planetcss and therefore queue will be required.

I might not make the wiki after all. I thought a lot about it and found that first I would be finishing with the pdf and then only will I work on the online version because making two things at a time becomes difficult.

Yeah I saw your status update but it wasn't because of that . I prefer things online then offline because maintaining them online is easy because I just keep experimenting with my PC and the operating systeam . And BTW organized - well , I was also planning to add an Index and change some things but that won't be in V5 , It will be after I finish with "ULTIMATE" and start with something else. Well , we can work , but the problem is that my Internet connection is not working nicely from a few days + I would be very busy once my school re-opens so then he would be the only one working on it. And the online version can also be a little late because of my internet .,.,

gameinfo.txt ???????? well I don't know anything about that . But yeah it asks for appid , and for that you can create a file steam_appid.txt in the /bin folder and then in that file only 745 should be written. And then it works .And if it gives error related to steam.dll file location in rev.ini then open the rev.ini file and look for this line - SteamDll=.\bin\Steam\Steam.dll Then Change it to #SteamDll=.\bin\Steam\Steam.dll .,., And it works without any problem.

It will work , its KiNG guaranty , because the rev.ini controls the language of the game , so any language file if in the appropriate location and in the correct format will surely work by changing the language in the rev.ini .
