Uninstall Junkies Client , Download the latest version of the client from the forums , Install it , Start it , Wait for a few minutes for it to load everything up , Then do whatever you want to do . -

@CL4NAk47 .,., Your regfix will only work if the problem is related to directx which has only 0.01 % chances .,., Whereas the fix that Smartplay and I have posted is completely targeted .,.,.,That works but for that game needs to be patched properly and the client.dll file needs to be generated

Well it downloads the full game + the dedicated server . If you want to download only the dedicated server then change the location of the download to CS : GO folder,.,., Steam required error - use that reg fix

Hey khanhtruong777 , you have written that we can't play on maps when we play the no-steam version on steam . But how is that so .Pls REPLY. I can very well play the game with bots after loading it from steam. I can play with maps downloaded via the workshop and the already there maps. I don't get any error. The only problem is that EITHER it shows all the achievements unlocked and all medals are with us OR it unlocks achievements but not any medals . I play it like this only since it has less loading time , faster gameplay speed , some hints for kids ,.,.,etc etc.,.,

verify all is not always recommended if you ask me -------- 1. you can't resume if you get any error if you always keep it checked 2. sometimes it doesn't fix the files and then using in without verify all is recommended

deleting acf file is sometimes needed because the download is controlled by that file and if anything is wrong with that file , the client doesn't download the update .It has happened with me

appmanifest_730.acf file is either located inside the steamapps folder in the junkies client install location OR it is located within the CS:GO install folder with a very meaningless folder name

delete the acf file . install / update the game using the client and repatch . everything will work. the update is about 18 mb
