[REL] Counter-Strike Global Offensive PATCHED by [Junkies]
My problem. Windows 8 - not 8.1 though. 1. Installed the game 2. Installed the update 3. Installed the patch 4. Mounted junkies_csgo_image-1.6 as HDD, Read-only, Partition 0, Drive Z: 5. Steam logged-in 6. Ran CSGO from Desktop 7. Game works, menu showed up 8. Went to settings, changed some settings, Apply ----> crashed 9. Never mind with the settings I thought, straight playing Offline with bots 10. Loading finished, can't choose T or CT, Auto-select and Spectate button not working too. Have to force close the game. 11. I give up. 12. Waiting for reply from Smartplay or perhaps a new patch/fix 13. Seems impossible because Dreamhack 2013 is coming and they keep updating the game. 14. Notified my friend I wanted to buy CSGO after I finished my exam, using his credit card. He agreed. 15. Problem solved!

At least it finally works for Windows 8 :D Take your time fixing the crashing issues when changing the settings. Can't wait to play though, at least offline with bots.

I tried it, Windows 7 & Vista, even XP. Still the same, blackscreen then csgo.exe has stopped working message. So SmartPlay is there any fix or a way to make it work in Win8 ? Wanted to play this game so badly now.

Oh nvm, I went back a few pages and I saw a few replies stating that it does not work for Windows 8, damn it ! I tried using Compatibility mode for XP SP2/3 & Windows 7 but it does not work too :( Guess I'll have to wait until it is working for Windows 8

Hmm didn't work. I already did all the steps and even watch the video but I can't run the game. 1) Ran csgo.exe normally / as Admin but it gives me a black screen then a sound with a pop up message : This game requires steam! 2) Ran revLoader.exe normally / as Admin but it gives me the same black screen then it auto exits itself, stating csgo.exe has stopped working...bla bla bla. Ran the registry JCRP_64bit repeatedly and tried running the game again but still the same as no.1 & 2. What am I doing wrong?

Maybe a Video Tutorial would be nice to clear the issues we are getting.

Wow, cool, Junkies is back! Thanks for your hard work man. Just a question though, I'm using Virtual Clone Drive and the drive letter is E: not Z: , so will that work if I use it on the E: drive?

Yes you can put in any drive you want; C: D: E: etc as long as the CSGO game is under steamapps/common/ that corresponds to the Junkies Client installed folder. Because by default the path is C:/Program Files/Junkies Client but as you said you can changed the directory to somewhere else as long as the game is inside the folder.

That's because you are putting your downloaded CSGO torrent in a different location. It must be in C:/Program Files/Junkies Client/steamapps/common/Counter-Strike Global Offensive My CSGO I have is from Steam when they have the Free Weekend deal a long time ago and I still have it in my Steam folder. I've been looking for the crack but finally I found this site (Planetcss) and Junkies Client which is even better because it provides automatic updates. Then I notice the client automatically downloaded the game and being put in the path above so I figured if I move my downloaded CSGO from Steam folder to my Junkies Client folder, it will straight away download the update and skip downloading the entire game, and it works :)

Nice, glad to hear it

CS:GO ERROR!!! BACKGROUND TEXTURE
Usually when this happens on Steam, it can be solved by verifying game cache files but since this is from Junkies Client, maybe you'll have to Update and Patch again since there is a new update released by Valve recently. But not sure if the new update is available or not from Junkies Client
