Why so big uptade?
I have similar problem guys! 3 of my friends have 37 mb of update file to be downloaded but my client shows 240 mb. though we downloaded the game and updates from same place...and did tried to do the update on the same time! :( every time it shows download of 240 mb..and even if i d/l it throug my slowass internet speed the game crashes after a blackscreen! :(

Run Junkies Client as Administrator that'll surely solve this problem! :D i too faced this problem but running as admin solved it! first right clicke junkiesclient.exe>>Properties>>compatibility>>Privilege level>>check on the "run this program as adminstrator", then apply this...then open the junkies client as administrator! :D

Did Everything Right, Doesn't Work.
I too tried and installed everything as stated....actually me and my friend did the installation process together on our own PCs seperately. I got the problem of blackscreen and it returns to the desktop, but my friend has it running on his PC, I think there might be some problem with the ATi GPUs because every one who did the updates as i did had the game running on their PCs as they all have nVidia GPU, while I am the only one (with ATi GPU) stuck with the blackscreen crash problem! :( However, I think that you should try a reinstallation then update the game to the latest version first d/l and install version 1.2.22.1 to 1.2.22.2 and then d/l and install 1.2.22.2 to 1.2.22.3 from the site and patch the game via junkies client! that worked for my friends! Hope this works for you!

CS:GO Blackscreen Crash! :(
I updated and installed the Update for CSGO via Junkies Client. all in admin mode.... I patched it without problem...then when i play the game through Revloader(or its shortcut) in admin mode the game crashes after showing black screen for 5-10 seconds :/ I have tried this several times.....im using Windows 7 Professional SP1 Also tried: Opening w/o internet, blocking & unblocking revloader and csgo in firewall settings still no luck..I have all of my drivers updated and yes i have .net 4.5 installed need help!
