People i'm glad to read so many good feedback and sorry for those who still are failing to patch but well, keep trying x) i have been a little distant i know but i still check the forum time to time =) just to see if i have to update the guide, just to let you know that guys. SmartPlay keep the good work and you know you can count on me for anything you need. -
on my way. Edit: Done, all the links are updated, look at it and tell me if you want me to reduce even more the colors please. you want them to connect over lan, or over the internet ? Edit: if you want them to connect over the internet, you can create your own server so they can easily connect (follow Dizidia guide on the tutorials section on the forum) if you want to play on lan, you have to start the map with bots and your friends have to connect to your ip =)

lets see what SmartPlay say about this, i haven't tried that and i don't have cs:s so i'm not sure man, sorry first try the black screen fix if it wont work then make sure everything is admin rights and try again, don't know why it wont generate the client.dll sometimes =/ well if you tried the black screen fix and still you have the problem, try deleting the registry keys from valve, uninstall cs:s if you have it, disable antivirus, firewall, make sure you have c++ redistributable 2008. 2010 and .net framework 4.5, try to open the game with admin rights & without internet too, if you fail then perhaps your client is not properly generating the client.dll ? Well it seems that some times the client cant generate the client.dll i really don't know why, and i don't know if its true, SmartPlay could be trying to fix it you know ? i beg patience for all =)

pai if you are not able to connect to your own server even with the command "connect your_server_ip" you might want to check if you opened your ports 27005, 27015 & 27020 on both your firewall & router, well i'm 100% sure that if i don't open those ports i cant see my server listed, and if i open them me and my friends can see and play the server (online & lan)

Maybe there is no need to, But I feel like i just want to drop a thanks post, hope no one get mad at me xD Thanks to V3N0M & Terra i feel that without V3N0M's guide & without Terra's video i couldn't correctly installed & played the game, they inspired me to write this long thread. Thanks to Versatile for his video tutorials and his showing that this thing really works. Thanks to dat man, nking121, khanhtruong777 & everybody for their suggestions and their support helping people on the main thread, please keep the good work =). Thanks to fpe for letting us know which registry key's we should look / fix / delete. Thanks to dzida121 for his great tutorials and for helping me to get my own csgo online server up and running. Thanks to everybody in this community for giving good feedback and also for posting your problems, please keep doing it people. I know i wasn't here since the beginning of V1 but i feel i'm now part of this great community anyways, so thank you all guys even if i don't know any of you. Last but not least thank you so much SmartPlay for your hard work on the Junkies Client, and for all your help.

Man that's a weird one, the only thing i can tell you is, if you try to connect to the test server (type without the quotes) "connect 89.205.123.68:27015" (or add the server 89.205.123.68 in your favorite tab) If you connect to the test server, and you are able to play on the test server then i guess i could say that the problem its not you nor the client, the problem its on the 175.100.184.18 server which could not be properly cracked or perhaps not properly port forwarded. ^_^

I know its not related exactly to that same error as you have, but the only fake update i get is when i input any proxy setting in the client settings tab, it say there is a new client update, then fails to update, and then it closes the client, you can recreate it and see its true As i said it has nothing to do with the error you are getting, I Just wanted to mention it.

Thanks for your feedback regalstreak =) please keep in mind you don't need to quote the whole second post to make your point, you can edit your post and spoiler the quote to make it shorter ;) i will add your info in the tutorial so people don't change the nickname before they make sure they can play, keep in mind that the nickname change over the client work for some people so its not obligatory to change it over the rev.ini but i hope it will help some people :lol:

wow i really don't know, i don't have cs:s on my computer so i cant tell you if that is a problem, i guess it shouldn't be a problem, but if it now gives you black screen then something had happened there, wait for SmartPlay answer lets see what he have to say about that :blink: re-patch if that wont work, do the black screen fix. keep trying, i never tried on xp but if you made it on w7 you know what you have to do :lol:

Thank you for your feedback JX431 i'm glad you found it helpful, keep in touch for the upcoming updates =) If your antivirus is bothering every time you play csgo, then add the revLoader.exe or & the csgo.exe to white list, if the problem persist please specify which is the .exe you are talking about!
