    what do you mean by nr.2 delete everything that has soemthing to do with steam? and screw up my entire steam game library? Please be more specific, I'm not just gonna randomly delete keys. Edit: Do you mean the keys that make steam run in the background located at: computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Valve\Steam? There are only 3 keys containing "steam": -SourceModInstallPath -SteamExe -SteamPath Are these the ones that needed to be removed? EDIT2: also there was a line refering to CS:GO in:computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Valve\Steam\ActiveProcess wich i've deleted aswell. I'll tell the results in a bit.

    I have no idea what to do, I have black screen all the time. I have installed/updated a million times, patched equal amounts= black screen. Did the registry thingy a billion times= black screen. why isn't this working seriously? I've been here trying and trying for 4 houres already.
