I got the same problem and hell it hate it the game was crashing again and again ShiT! Ok to solve this problem if u took ownership of the hard drive change it to default Or try installing the game not in the Os driver

Open the game save your settings and close the game now go to gamefolder\csgo\cfg right click on video.txt and check readonly

If u want to play with the skins u can play in this server 31.28.245.64:27028

I found my problem i took ownership of the harddisk as my name that is GhosTttttttttttttt\GhosTtttttttttttttttt when i changed it to admnistator/GhosTtttttttttt it stoped crashing i also recommande installing any windows of 64 bit

no smartplay has temporarily disable skins on his server

I think u should reinstall the game

The skins seemed to work for me but when i closed the game. The game would not start so i pasted the platform folder again and when i launched the game the skins won't work online

my windows was corrupted so i reinstalled it but before it was 64 bit now it is 32bit when i installed the game i didnot modify any file it is giving errors but i think i have fixed it using windows 8 32 bit

I think i have the solution u need to select the knifes skin when u play online i think thats how it worked for me :D
