no seriously there is a problem at the level of connection (depending only games without internet).

And ther are a other probleme the game started well then everything works but 5-10 sec later the game stop working.

Ok so i figured out the issue. The only way to play successfully is running the client in administrator mode, make sure that you have all of the update and patches updated like usual, then right after that before you launch the game, turn off your internet on your pc or if you have a laptop put it on airplane mode. then hit the play button, then if you want to play online click on the server browser, then alt tab back to desktop to turn on your internet then go back to the game and hit refresh. thats what worked for me, so SmartPlay the client is awesome when its working but im here to let you know of a known issue that everyone is having and hopefully i can help with letting you know some of these issues in the future. But yeah smartplay the issue seems to be the internet or connection problems. Hope you can fix it in an update but for now i can live with turning my internet on and off again cause this client is just awesome ha......Oh also another issue that seems to not be a major problem is that i am still getting that unable to remove csgo file error 2 error, I dont know what that means but hopefully you or someone can help thanks

Dude, you are genius. I had same issue with crash to desktop after patching game to latest version. Your disconnect tricked worked. Yes, I am getting that error 2 error also!

If you have lost the activation, try the following: open the registry at HKEY_CURRENT_USER SOFTWARE and Hkey_local_machine SOFTWARE locate and delete the Valve, then start the game again.

Tested on my desktop (Windows XP SP3) and my laptop (Windows 8), offline game with bot runs well on Windows XP, even with internet on. Not work on Windows 8 (internet off, AV off too), game crash upon entering the match. :(

 

Edit: I turned off KIS 2013 on laptop, the game runs smoothly as normal.

Hello admin;

 

The game crashes after a few seconds when the main menu appears. It says csgo.exe has stopped working. i patched again but the still the same error appears. what can i do?? 

im not sure if you all know it ,,,VALVE DONT WANT YOU TO PLAY FOR FREE....its not a Bug or something.....something tells me it needs a new revloader.exe and cracked steam.dll

nothing helped, if i am on 1 queue and then on 0 That message pop ups and i cant click Install/Update or anything else i just can press "Save Log" I'm sorry if this question is answered but on 900+ posted messages i didnt want to read everything

after 13333337 tries it worked, i didn't did anything just waited for queue and then there finally i could press Install/Update but it says i have not enough disk place, on C:\ i have 80+ gb on D:\ i have 200+ gb and on my external  250+ where is the problem xD?

opened steam/greenluma today and the game again crashes after start/black screen
now i need to wait 2 hours for the update and patching pffff

I have the same problem, but after launching game you can turn on your internet and play on serwers :D

Feedback: after I verified all and patched, it got even worse for me. The game wont connect to the internet plus all the stats are not "synced". Plus after I quit the game, it will stop responding. Then I will have to restart my laptop because even though im able to open task manager, I cant click the windows of task manager as it will just deselect and return to the window of unresponding game). I tried it twice btw. Also, I think there's something wrong with the update for junkies client as it fails everytime I click ok and closes the application by itself.

How do you mean the game won't connect to the internet? The stats problem is not a problem. They can't be fixed because of the new version of the game.

 

The freeze at shutdown is known and I am working to fix that. for now just kill the process.

It says "not connected to steam" in the browser for community server. Not sure worth mentioning or not but I checked verify all and patched it, install/update and then patch it again. Now cant update my junkies client. Yes, the reason im letting you know about the freeze after exiting issue is because I didnt get it before the patch. Just got it yesterday btw (:

The server browser still does not work. Valve changed some things. Also we are using new test emulator. All the servers in the old version were russian servers sponsored by bir3ek rev emu. For now use google to find servers or play on your favorites.
