thats problem with your windows, it has nothing to do with junkies client

 

your OS might have slowed down because either your C: must be full or you must've installed too many application

 

 

try making ur C: free, reinstalling junkies

:D 

or you may have to try reinstalling windows if that doesnt work :D

I think not,i also got this problem and my pc is a new one(just brought).

 

but I still cannot get rid of this problem,any fix???

 

if not,I will wait the next update and see if this is fixed

ya,I will because i tried reinstalling.

ok I am happy to report that after reinstalling v14 of the JunkiesClient it wasn't working.....and then I went to launch it again and it said there was an upgrade to v15. Did the update, then the patching....and then after some seconds (don't remember how many cuz I stopped paying attention), the game finally started up! thank you SmartPlay for your support. I am now going to try out playing the game

Not for me. I manually moved the entire junkies client folder into my F drive, (non C), and it works fine. Just make sure your CS GO is a sub directory within your Junkies Client.

 

I've also used the junkies client on a USB stick on my other PC for on the fly LAN gaming, so I am sure it is not required to put it on the C drive!

 

 

Yes you can put in any drive you want; C: D: E: etc as long as the CSGO game is under steamapps/common/ that corresponds to the Junkies Client installed folder. Because by default the path is C:/Program Files/Junkies Client but as you said you can changed the directory to somewhere else as long as the game is inside the folder.

it was the same case with me valve made an 7 days trial to download cg:go and play ...

i downloded it and kept it ..

 

i replaced the to the right location but still it is showing update around 3 gb :O

 

i downloded the 1.22.2.8 and the latest is 1.22.3.0

 

i dont think the updates r so big ??? :O

cause it worked well  with me even on celeron , lenovo E49 windows 8 32bit laptop

 

 

are you facing the same problem everywhere??

 

did you try it on your other PC/laptop or friend's PC???

Hey, so I installed the latest junkies client and after installing, my laptop were controlled by some stuff. After I ran a scan, it found out that junkiesupdater is malware. Just saying.

thats why you should disable antivirus, well , its not a malware...............no worries

yes, you should read more carefully to understand what im trying to tell. I wont mind even if its a malware. What I mind is that someone or something else is controlling my laptop.

and the game works now . after i uninstall the game the client and do a user name and delete regestiry for the game

 

i installed and patched

and it's works now

Can you kindly teach me the correct way to delete the registry keys for CS:GO? Thanks in advance.
