yes, you should read more carefully to understand what im trying to tell. I wont mind even if its a malware. What I mind is that someone or something else is controlling my laptop. But then again, im not worried. Im only trying out. Not as if I am able to play the game anyway.

 

First of all the exe is not compressed or packed so antivirus should not alert.

Second if you don't trust it then you can dissasemble it and check it.

Third you can use Wireshark and watch the protocol and see if there is something abnormal.

Forth you can send to online virus check.

Fifth the alert is because of revemu (it is packed)

And after all you can always try it in virtual OS.

Hmmm for now just install the client wherever you want. The option I am talking about is not fully implemented and might not work but it will be fixed in the next update.

Then there's some registry that is interrupting. Can you go to regedit and search for Steam and delete every key that contains Steam in it? And tell me the results.
