after i update and patch i try to connect to a server

i tried to update again from the client 

but it said i have invialed key -__-

Is it possible for us to do a manual patch? Or get a different place to download from? The junkies client is extremely unreliable, just look at all the people posting issues. I've updated and patched six times now and I still get "could not load library client" errors but only if I was lucky enough to get past the "invalid key" or other errors. I know it's free but the client has been a real thorn in the back to use.

 

Unless I'm mistaken and something else is causing the issues?

That happened with me a couple of times

Exit the Junkies Client

Check the Task Manager ..1 out of 10 times the process JunkiesClient.exe is sometimes running in the background, if so then kill it

Launch the client again & it will be fine :)

It means you are still on 12300 build of the game & latest is 12302

Try to update without 'Verify All' checked ..the size of last two updates combined should be around 90mb i guess

 

I got 'Invalid Key' error MANY times when i updated my game today :wacko:

Nothing can be done about it i guess, you press OK & you've to start the Updating/Patching again standing in the queue!

I open server browser and only see 33 servers :angry:

 

Why only 33 Servers and not over 100 Servers??

For some reason when I try to Install / Update it says Not enough disc space...

I have 115 GB of free space... What the hell?

Now it says I have Invalid key...

This is so frustrating

Fixed... I'm a morron, I didn't set the right CS:GO destination in the settings... Currently updating client

EDIT#2:

Updating and patching succesfull, now I've got blackscreen problem... Trying to solve it...

EDIT#3:

Invalid Key error while trying to patch the game

EDIT#4: After numerous tries it finally patched the game, blacksreen problem isn't solved...

I had the same invalid key and black screen problem, you might wanna try the method I posted on page 110.

Guys when i wanna connect to a server it says i don't have connection with my net but i do, also when i wanna play offline vs bots just for fun it says steam validation rejected or something (BTW im new and this was my first try but i can't play it:( because of that errors.

Well either your game is not updated properly or it is not patched properly

I had the same invalid key and black screen problem, you might wanna try the method I posted on page 110.

Open console & type "map <mapname>"

where <mapname> is the name of the map you want to play

The maps won't show .,,.,., you have to load the map from console

Hey SMART, isn't CS :1.6 steampiped yet ????????? if it is then please add it to the client ???

 

And please do the following change in the client -

Junkies client sometimes doesn't generate client so the game does not run .,.,., So make it such that whenever we patch it it generates the client.dll file whether already generated or not .,.,- this will fix a lot of black screen problem for many people,.,.,.

you must go to internet tab not friends and you will see 45+ servers
