Guys, 1st THANKS and CONGRATULATIONS!!!  But I just can't get this working... after everything wen't fine.. when start from desktop shortcup... black screen... "Alt+Tab" and "This Game requires Steam" message window in background... I've tried .reg files... WITH Steam opened... closed... logged... NOTHING... same error... always....

 

Using Win8 x64 anyw could help??? PLEASE!!!

 Fix the need steam problem: if you have steam client uninstall it.

 

After uninstall:

 

1. Close everything.

2. Open regedit and find all keys that contain "Steam" in it.

3. Delete them one by one.

4. Restart your PC.

 

If you have done this steps download steam an install it... dont log in to steam.

 

Next:

 

5. Delete /csgo/bin/client.dll

6. Run Junkies Client and click Install / Update with Verify All option checked.

7. When that finishes click Patch.

8. Make shortcut.

 

This helps me to fix the problem with "this game need steam" but not the black screen.... i will try to fix this too and post it here if its work...

 

If you dont have steam client install it and do steps 5-8.

 

Now it fixed all my Problems with steam and black screen ;) i hope this helps you too do the steps after launching cs go wait its take 15-30 sec and you are ingame :)

Ok I am writing this for last time and from now on I'll ignore this problem.

1. Close everything.

If after this you don't success running the game then you can consider buying it :)

This procedures works..., i can already play this game..,all we have to do is follow this procedure carefully.., steam error fix and black screen fix.., THANK YOU!!! Awesome Game that can play online..,hek hek hek.., :-D

hello, i downloaded, patched and played the game a few days ago, everything goes well, but today i tried to start the game and it send me a error window that say, "This game needs Steam" and the game does not start, so i open my junkies server, uploaded the game and then patched again ( i made this because i think it will fix it, but it doesn't)  
What i need to do to fix this ??? Please help me

THE LAUNCHER DOES WORK WITH WIN XP (CONFIRMED), SMARTPLAY FIXED IT LONG AGO. OPEN JUNKIES CLIENT AND RE-PATCH!!

 

CS 1.6 WILL BE ADDED WHEN SMARTPLAY HAS FREE TIME AND WHEN HE WANTS TO. (don't rush) ;)

VISUAL C++ REDISTRIBUTABLE –
These Files Fix A Number Of Error Related To DLLs

It says "If You Want To Use Steam With The Game Also Installed", not "Play non-Steam CSGO On Steam". The reg fix is used only in case you need Steam to play other Steam games, you can run Steam and play normally. Then before you play Junkies CSGO, you have to exit Steam and run the reg fix.
