What is the exact problem?

While updating I got this twice:

This doesn't work man, I tried both (x64 n x86) but still don't work.

You're right man there are big problems after the last update.

Let's wait for a solution.

Well my internet was not working for a few days so i just tested the new updated CS:GO black screen. The fix is that do not use the reg fix , instead install steam .

The regfix blanks out the location of installed steam but right now the game requires steam to run and therefore the key should be present.

Now I am really confused, Does steam need to be installed or not? Well I guess it do not matter as I did both. with and without the Reg fix. SmartPlay, Try it yourself on a newly fresh Install of Windows your self and see where you get with it. I bet you get same results as all of us here.

No need to bother him, I can explain. These are exactly what I did on my Windows 8 Pro 64bit from installing the client to updating and play the games.

  1. Disable my antivirus (KIS 2013) for a moment to install Junkies Client.
  2. Add Junkies Client folder to my AV whitelist (to avoid disruption)
  3. Start the client as admin, leave the Installation Directory as default location.
  4. Click Install/Update as usual.
  5. When it finished, click Patch.
  6. Upon patching, the client will generate a unique client.dll on your PC (you can't use it on another comp)
  7. Then create game shortcut using the client.
  8. Run the shortcut as admin to play.

About Steam, it's not required to play non-Steam CS, it only cause problems. And if you never installed Steam, no need to run the reg fix. I have Steam installed only to download custom maps from workshop, after that I quit Steam and run the reg fix to play non-Steam CS:GO.

please help for this kind of problem, because when I join a server from the community I always back from the home screen and if I remember the error that I see is "server is not responding" I not sure about this because it's so fast. please help me and this is my second post for the same problem. And I know that it will solve just give me a guide or something and I not saying this for the complaint but for the concern.

Yesterday I had problems with updating and patching. It was loggiing in and logging offand the menu was hanging "configuring*

Somebody else had updatig problems with the last update from steam.

Problems are solved after removing appmanifest.

i got 200 gb disk space!!.

Why the beta version? It isn't recommended here.

Use the download version, update and patch.

I just copy to his PC and login junkies client with different account and click on install/update and patch.

And i get the steam beta required.

My suggestion would be to remove the contents of the csgo folder and replace it with files from the downloaded csgo.

guys, i'm having problem and i cant fix it. I already followed the instructions above but its still not working.


i can play the game only for 20 - 30 secs and after that the program stop working..

Provide Read / Write Access to junkies client folder and wherever the game is installed. Or simply move the game at a place where it will inherit Read / Write Access.
