After long hrs of downloading, I can't believe it it's working. I didn't found any bugs/errors after 3hrs of playing. Thank u so much Junkies Team! :wub:

 

BTW, Can I copy/paste this to my brother's pc so that we can play it on LAN? and how to change the name? Because I've already tried in console by typing "Name MyName" but nothing happen. Thanks.. :mellow:

Open junkies client change your nickname and repatch and create shortcut , OR open up the rev.ini file and in there change your nickname.

Yeah you can copy paste it to your bro's pc but to make it run you need to first update it on his pc and then patch it so that client.dll gets generated for him.

I will update again? it's very heavy sir more than 3GB of downloading. Is there any other solutions w/out downloading/patching? Because our internet connection is limited for only 1 connection. For short my bro's pc doesn't have internet connection. :(

If you copy the game from your pc to your bro's then the update will be only of about 4 mb . and that is required , patching will download a few kb's + generate the client dll .

---In internet servers, i can connect to all the servers with maps that i have, but, when i try to connect to a server that is currently in a map that i dont have i get this: session error. Can anyon help me please???

No my password's not wrong. I'v tried running non admin and running in admin and still get the same fail. My utorrent works perfectly fine so I know it's not a blocked port. Tried downloading the game on kickasstorents.com but I just get a dumb black screen. Tried using your registry edits and those didn't help my KA CS. I like counter strike enough to where I'd actually buy it. But the way games have been sucking lately I want to make sure it's worth buying.

The server you are trying to play on is probably not properly patched.

You need internet connection to generate a client.dll file and that file is unique for every pc else no-one would have been able to play it because everyone would have the same fake steam id. And that I think is generated by using the id of the HDD. So another way would be to make a copy of the game on your bro's HDD , replace your HDD with your bro's ,install/update and patch it . Then give him his HDD back , and it should be running . Or else if you use a donngle then you can give it to him, if you have a broadband then you can get his pc to your home (if possible) and then use your internet connection with his pc by connecting your modem's lan wire to his pc , or the best would be to activate internet on phone just for 1 day maybe and then using a data cable with his pc - update and patch the game.

 

there is no <models> file in the cstrike file

Well , maybe the video is old . The game is steampiped and it means that most of the data is contained within the *.vpk files. To edit them you will need GCFscape.

Well the server that you try to connect is maybe not patched properly or not correctly updated because when you try to connect to any server which uses a map that you don't have then it starts downloading it to your pc and you can connect to the servers.

Hhahahha.... I tried to reopen the client again to see if it would work again. It ended up starting to update and then crashed. some cmd line window popped up and I wasn't paying attention to what it said and it crashed and ended up deleting the executable client lol.

Provide Read / Write Access to junkies client folder and wherever the game is installed. Or simply move the game at a place where it will inherit Read / Write Access.

It helps nothing and not necessary, just run the client as administrator and you would be able to install CS:GO anywhere on your HDD (including C:\Windows).  B)  :D
