When I try to play online, I see this:

The lobby timed out connecting to the servers. Please check your network connection and try again.

 

My network connection is good. I check it few times.

 

What should I do?

I use proxy to access internet,, i am in college ,, when i am running junkies client error is is coming as no network connection..but i can access net..please help me in solving this issue

admin when i join your test server i have error : the file pak01_dir.vpk doesn't match our file . why this error :? ? ? ? ?

Hmm, a lot of servers are russian, and distance from server to client is very important. If you are far from server you will have got high ping. For ex. i have ping over 160, but in Lol, i have 40 max 70

i'm the same

in css the ping is 193 and in csgo it's over 250+

my game crashes when i'm choosing team....it just shuts down and goes to desktop

Is there any way to download the update (2.1gb) manually. i cant download from junkies client auto updater. because my internet speed is not so good and some times it gets disconnect. so i have to download from start again everytime.

i installed the update, patched..then i created the shortcut.
but when i launch d game, it opens into a black screen and then close back to the desktop!!!

you can open csgo and go to play then offline with bots and choose the mode and choose the map and play :)

why does this make me wait in the queue to download the patch? is one queue wait not enough punishment? seriously though it just bugs me that I was pretty much unable to leave my computer for quite a while just to get this working.

When you are in queue, and when you are 1st in queue, you have to wait couple seconds, and press Install/Uptade.

There is nice song that worning you when you are ready to download game. You have to wait so long time, cuz there is many people who are waiting for their turn. If waiting is for you punishment buy this game from steam.
