The client.dll file (in csgo\bin) is corrupt or missing. Pls run Junkies Client (as administrator) and patch again.

Hey first of all thank you for all the developers for this game... worked like a charm. Now I've recently upgraded to windows 8 and would love to continue playing the game.  Does this work on windows 8 pro? Has anyone tried/ tested it? Let me know

No it has not and it will not. I have slow connection and it is hard for me to upload new 2GB.

What 1gb update? The latest update Operation Payback is only 209 mb. :blink:

why everytime when i quit cs go it shows csgo.exe has stopped working ? :blink:

If you see any error messages then please report them. Also try again because we are constantly working on the server script so errors might randomly appear. Sorry for that but like I said it is still alpha version.

Read me:

• If you are on Windows 7 and have some problems then try and run the program as Administrator.
• Please disable any antivirus if you are running in the background.
• DO NOT STOP THE PROGRAM while downloading or you will loose all of your download and you'll start from 0 the next time.
• To start the game make shortcut of "C:\Program Files (x86)\Junkies Client\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive/revLoader.exe"

Installation:

1. Download our Junkies Client from the bottom of this post.
2. Install it as Administrator.
3. Now you have two chooses:

   - You can completely download the game using the Junkies Client.

   - Or if you have slow connection then you can download the torrent attached at the bottom of this post.

4. If you downloaded the torrent then you should extract it in some directory for example: C:\csgo
5. Run Junkies Client as administrator and open Settings. From the installation Directory select the folder where you extracted the torrent file. In our example that is C:\csgo
6. Click OK to close the Settings.
7. Now Click Install / Update. If it is your first time using the client then you'll be asked for Username and Password. Enter the same one you are using to log in to this forum.
8. Then you'll be put in queue.
9. When your turn comes you'll be logged in and the game will start Downloading / Updating.
10. After this process finishes you should click Patch.
11. Again you'll be put in queue and you should wait your turn. When your time comes the game will be patched and valid client.dll file will be generated.
12. It is recommended that Verify All will be checked all the time.
13. If everything is good, now you should be able to create shortcut or play the game.

Hello..I have downloaded the torrent of csgo from the posted link........now after extraction when i click install/update from junkies client a new 1.26 gb file is downloading.....what is that and is that download necessary after the original download?

I installed it in junkies client where the css file is located

I just created 2 torrents for CSGO and CSS, need speedtesting. If the download speed is too low for you guys, I'll stop seeding. This torrent will be available during 1 AM to 4 PM (UTC). Pls try and let me know.

 

Edit: It seems the my torrent upload speed is very low and sometimes the connection goes unstable. Besides, no one has been downloading it. So I've removed the torrent file and stop seeding. Please download the game via Junkies Client. Cheers.

Maps in CSGO are not like CSS or previous versions, only official maps are added to gamemode categories and have preview thumbnails. To load a custom map, you have to open console and load map manually. For example, if I want to play cp_dust2 under deathmatch gamemode, type "map cp_dust2 deathmatch" (w/o quotes), same with armrace, demolition, casual, competitive. Have fun :)
