Please Read this BEFORE YOU ASK SOMETHING...

Q1: Why I can't connect to the server ?

A1: Because new patch is required and SmartPlay can't release it in second.

Q2: Why I get message "The server you are trying to connect to is running an older version of the game." when I try to connect a server?

A2: Because the server you try to connect is not updated with latest patch and you must wait for it's admins to do their job.

Q3: Why I get message "STEAM validation rejected!"?

A3: Because you try to connect to original steam server. Remember that this is non-steam game so therefore you cannot join legit steam servers. You can play only on private a.k.a patched servers.

Q4: Do I have to reinstall the game, when I wanna update it ?

A4: No, you don't have to.

Q5: Do I have to download older patches as well ?

A5: No, you don't have to, you can't even do that, because SmartPlay deletes links with obsolete content. For now, all of the patches are cumulative, meaning that everything is included in the latest patch.

Q6: Message in console - "Invalid Steam key size"

A6: You are trying to connect to very old server version (v34)

Q7: What is the default start up parameter for the game?

A7: -game cstrike -console -steam -appid 240

Q8: Unable to write to rev.ini

A8: Locate the file rev.ini in your installation directory, then right click on the file and click Properties and uncheck "Read Only" checkbox.

Q9: Why do I get message like: "You are in insecure mode. You must restart before you can connect to secure servers."

A9: Because you don't have "-steam" in your start up parameters.
