I was doing the "Section 2"

I done all the instructions that was there - When i opened the game the screen went black and after 5-15 seconds it went back to my desktop. (It didnt show any errors)

 

Can u help me with this? 

IM HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM AFTER GENERATING CLIENT.DLL

now im getting a black blank screen with my cursor roaming here and there........i opened task manager and saw that cs go went not responding............can anybody help???? me......... <_<  its too much irritating!!!

ayo zther i kept trying left it open for a whole day .. it wont generate the client.dll :( please help :/ idk why does this occur i tried it on 2 xp computers got the same result ,, the play button is clickable but when i click it nothing happens and the junkies client just closes and nothing happens .. i try to press revloader it gives me an erorr .. reinstalling the program may fix it ... :/ any ideas ? you ? smartplay ..?

Does CS:Source affects CS:GO ??, because I did the guide properly, followed every procedure, when I got blackscreen, I even followed the 2nd post, but still I get black screen >.< , when I got exhausted, I tried to play CS:S but then it also gets Black screen >.< , It was working fine before I installed CS:GO.

my CS:S is in Driver D , and CS:GO is in C:\Program Files (x86)\Counter Strike Global Offensive

Ok, at somehow I proved that CS:S somehow affects CS:GO, because I tried to uninstall CS:S, and CS:GO worked, and vice versa when I tried to uninstall CS:GO, CS:S worked, well I want both CS:GO and CS:S to work when it's both installed because my father sticks to CS:S with his friends and they don't like CS:GO, I like CS:GO but I can't play it without uninstalling CS:S .

I need both installed and working properly T_T

first try the black screen fix if it wont work then make sure everything is admin rights and try again, don't know why it wont generate the client.dll sometimes =/

well if you tried the black screen fix and still you have the problem, try deleting the registry keys from valve, uninstall cs:s if you have it, disable antivirus, firewall, make sure you have c++ redistributable 2008. 2010 and .net framework 4.5, try to open the game with admin rights & without internet too, if you fail then perhaps your client is not properly generating the client.dll ?

Well it seems that some times the client cant generate the client.dll i really don't know why, and i don't know if its true, SmartPlay could be trying to fix it you know ? i beg patience for all =)

I have CSGO and CSS installed and I don't have any problem.

The problem with not generating completly client.dll is in some registry values. I am still trying to find what values are responsible for that.

I am also having the same problem. Blackscreen for a few seconds then crashes back to the desktop. I tried the blackscreen fix for 10 times already and I'm still stuck with this problem  :(

One thing that I noticed is that client.dll is not generated properly when I patch the game. The progress bar says "client.dll: 1%" and then it skips away downloading other components.

Maybe the reason why me and the others have this similar problem it's because the client.dll is not generated properly.
 

I tried this on another computer and CS:GO runs just fine. Here, when I patched the game I believe that the client.dll is generated properly because the progress bar says "client.dll: 1%..... 100%".

I hope that this problem will be figured out soon.

Your PC is very much better than mine :blink: , so this may not be about system limit. Let's try again, run Junkies Client as administrator, check Verify All, click Install\Update and then Patch. You may need to watch the client carefully to see if the client.dll is generated properly.

If the above step doesn't work and your game remains a blackscreen, open rev.ini file (inside Counter-Strike Global Offensive folder) and add some parameters, like this:

 

ProcName=csgo.exe -steam -silent -console /help -width 800 -h 600 -windowed

 

It will force CSGO to run in specified resolution, once you're in game, change every video settings to lowest. I've been playing CSGO with this setting all the time :D (a bit laggy though)

you want them to connect over lan, or over the internet ?

 

Edit: if you want them to connect over the internet, you can create your own server so they can easily connect (follow Dizidia guide on the tutorials section on the forum) 

 

if you want to play on lan, you have to start the map with bots and your friends have to connect to your ip =)

Thanks, but after I download CS:GO Pro Players Pack and add it to the cfg, I hit black screen so I can't test yet, even after I delete everything and install CS:GO and Junkies Client in a different directory but it didn't work, black screen again. I'm so frustrated T___T

i downloaded the game form smartplay torrent and game works fine but after last update I have black screen and game close . and i checked Hashtab but from file pak01_009.vpk to pak01_dir.vpk not the same here and modify date of this files has changed  after last update  . can you guys fix the proplem pls ?  
 

AM open game balck screen and close game  what ?!

I downloaded the torrent, then unpacked it to a specified place. then
installed junkies client as administrator, then i clicked on
Install/update( selected the directory in the settings where i had
unpacked the downloaded content from the torrent). That happened, then i
updated and patched it. Created shortcut, ran revloader.exe as admin,
even switched off my antivirus. a black screen appears and game shuts
down. I had played CS:GO like 2-3 months back using Junkies and it
worked perfectly fine then, now after this update this black screen
thing keeps coming up. I changed the nickname btw, so if changing it
back to the default one makes any difference, do tell me the default
nickname cause i dont really remember.
