worked like a charm after i turned off firewall and antivirus. i only have an intel hd built in graphics and it works fine. many thanks to everybody involved.

OK guys this is a sacrifice i'm doing for you all, i'm seeding a torrent with my game folder (6 GB) and my upload speed is 5 kbps ~ 40 kbps. 

 

its ridiculous low speed for download / upload, so i will try and convince a few local friends so they seed too, i will give them my folder on a pen drive so they can help me with the first seeding, but i cant promise speeds over 150 kbps (so i first need some volunteer that have a good upload speed so he get it first and then he share it (seed it) until the torrent get enough speed / seeds)

 

The volunteer Candidate should meet the next requirements:

1 have a good upload speed.

2 be able to upload constantly for over 24 hours.

3 will be willing to seed until the torrent get enough seeders to live for itself.

4 have patience.

Wow that is a very good new. thanks SmartPlay people will be happy to hear that =)

 

Whenever your torrent is ready i will download it to use it on the next computers i have to install the game, just to be sure that there are not problems with the game nor with the junkies client.

(some people had problems downloading via the junkies client, not everybody off course but this will help a lot)

I was doing the "Section 2"

I done all the instructions that was there - When i opened the game the screen went black and after 5-15 seconds it went back to my desktop. (It didnt show any errors)

 

Can u help me with this?

but there are 3 servers only to play online

how i can see more servers ?

i'm glad you made it, we will have to wait for more servers non-steam to be creaked and updated to 1.22.3.1 patience.

Try zther's method:  ;)

1. In Junkies Client folder, run unins000.exe to uninstall the client. Then delete everything, keep steamapps folder.
2. Go to steamapps folder, delete everything, keep common folder.
3. Go straight to Counter-Strike Global Offensive folder, delete everything, keep bin, csgo and platform folder.
4. Download and install latest version of Junkies Client. Then try Install/Update & Patch again.

thanks for your feedback! so i can now say this are valid steps if you are running windows 8 :D now i just need to know if you downloaded the game with the junkies client.

Ok it tell you that on the log or it pop out a window telling you invalid password ?

3 times on my laptop (win 8) and 1 time on desktop (win xp), all on default directory (it was v16 i think). There was once when I tried to install CSGO in C:\Program Files (x86)\Junkies Client, then I had "not enough disk space" error. So I reinstalled the game in E:\Program Files\Junkies Client\, it worked perfectly.

 

However, in the past hour, I tried again: Uninstalled junkies client and delete some files and folders like you told me before. Then I ran Junkies Client Setup as admin, and moved the remaining files all the way to C:\Program Files (x86)\Junkies Client\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive. Then I run the client as admin, verify -> install/update & patch. --> Miracle appeared, no error. :D

PS: My VGA card is onboard, so I have to run the game at 800:500, with lowest graphic setting. :P
