Posted April 1, 201312 yr comment_7710 Getting that error when trying to open the game, after successfully installing and patching. I've tried repatching with "Verify All" checked after deleting steam.inf from the "bin" folder, but it still isn't working.

I successfully installed/updated, but after "patching" (or more like in the middle of it) the client just went not responding and then crashed.I'm trying to patch again now, but the 50+ queue every time I have to do something is killing me :(

I followed his guide - uninstalled Junkies Client, deleted unnecessary folders (which he specified), reinstalled, opened, installed... The only problem I had was patching, after waiting in a queue for 30 mins the patching has started, but the client crashed. However, I opened it up again, made sure "Verify All" is checked and repatched, no problem after that. I'm really happy that it works and thank you SmartPlay for making it possible <3

What was the problem?Please write down because other might have this problem too.SmartPlay i do know what he did, i know where is the problem and the problem its on some files (it is explained on my guide), i can tell you exactly which are, have you read the updated guide? if you read the section ~ Black Screen Fix ~ you will see what i'm talking about, the thing is i don't know exactly how the Junkies Client work i would like to chat with you anytime if you are available. And if others have the same problem, please follow the steps, it will save you lots of time.

May 23, 201311 yr comment_9948 Hey Smartplay, i know why this error occurs and how to solve it . Will add it in my guide later on. The error occurs because it can't find or access the steam.inf file located in /csgo folder . Fix - provide read access to that file OR simply delete it and re-update and re-patch. And Zther , I know how the client works so i can explain it to you whenever you are free and we both are online
