I installed/updated/patched as admin, have set the revLoader.exe to run as admin, I have the 4.5 framework, C++ 2010 redistributable, CCC is updated to the latest, have tried reinstalling and patching from a complete file and registry cleaning, I have Steam installed, and it still doesn't work. If I click play from the Junkies Client, it will say "Failed to create D3D Device." If I apply the fix for this by setting a custom resolution in the properties of the csgo shortcut (this doesn't work with the client or revloader) it will simply say that Steam is not installed even though it is installed. It does not make a difference if Steam is running or not. Below I have provided the information that I think will be necessary to help me, thanks.

I too tried and installed everything as stated....actually me and my friend did the installation process together on our own PCs seperately. I got the problem of blackscreen and it returns to the desktop, but my friend has it running on his PC, I think there might be some problem with the ATi GPUs because every one who did the updates as i did had the game running on their PCs as they all have nVidia GPU, while I am the only one (with ATi GPU) stuck with the blackscreen crash problem! :( 

However, I think that you should try a reinstallation then update the game to the latest version first d/l and install version 1.2.22.1 to 1.2.22.2 and then d/l and install 1.2.22.2 to 1.2.22.3 from the site and patch the game via junkies client! that worked for my friends!

From what I observed, the junkie program failed to download "client.dll" it shows a 1% only, then it proceed with the next file Rev.ini....

 

After the Black screen try to click patch again, and observed the file 'client.dll' You will see that it incompletely downloaded.

Dear friend, i have an Ati 6970 from asus, and i have not a single problem, just to let you know, you need to look further in your computer, besides the gpu's what are the differences between your pc and your friend pc ? sorry if i answered so many days after you posted your question, i didn't see it before.

what about this:upgrade or set up ur graphic adapter drive,if it still doesnt work,then update and patch ur csgo game once more
