Posted September 8, 201113 yr comment_1048 SO Today i started up CSS and i realized i needed a new update, so i got it, installed it, go to run the game and it crashes to "Hl2.exe has stopped working". Steps:~Applied patch~ Ran the exe~ game crashed. alot of other people have been have this problem, any fix?

September 10, 201113 yr Author comment_1064 I ran game check, and it said nothing was wrong.. Edit: Reinstalled CSS and applied the patch, GAME CRASHED AGAIN.
September 12, 201113 yr comment_1070 Yeah I have the same problem...but I can run the game for a few minutes like 10-15 minutes or so, and afterwards it crashes giving me the same error. Isn't there anyone that can help us? I downloaded the game and patches from this webpage only. I'm running on windows 7 32 service pack 1Also I'm havin problems connecting to some servers, it takes an eternity and after that i get the same error: hl2.exe has stopped working.....Please help!
