first of all, this is my first experience with junkies client.

 

I am gettinga  black screen.i have read a lot on this forum to find a fix and also saw youtube but for some reason i am still unable to play.

 

i get a black screen when i try to play the shortcut. from the task manager i can see that the game is fine for the first 4-5 seconds but then its NOT RESPONDING and exits to desktop after 10-20 seconds

 

I have tried the following (note that i have followed every step to the letter in tuts)

 

-- install css junkies and use the data from torrent (followed the tutorial my installing then patching etc)

----------tried the reg fix

---------- uninstalled junkies and also uninstalled steam then tried again (so tried a fresh install with 3 scenarios (steam+reg fix, steam installed and no steam)

 

 

-- Install css junkies and delete the folders as mentioned in the thread for black screen fix and then followed the steps (install via client and the same stuff)

 

 

--tried the steps with win7 compatability

 

 

so matter what i do, i cant get it to run. Can anyone please please help me? i even tried what one member said that close your explorer from task manager

 

 

 

and btw YES I RUN THESES AS ADMIN. from installing junkies client to running the shortcut EVERYTHING I run as admin

 

YES i meet the system requirments (hell i can play max payne 3 on high settings :P)

YES i have the dot net installed

YES i have drivers for my nvidia gfx card

again, YES I RUN THESE AS ADMIN

 

 

i just dont understand what i am doing wrong. someone please help me or atleast help me to identiffy whats wrong?

 

using win8 x64

650 sli

re-patch and make sure client is generated , else the game won't run.

Then use my reg fix and enjoy.

This is what I have done:

-remove manifest.

-opened junkiesclient and

-updated with verify on

screen freezed after that so I restarted Junkiesclient

-patched

 

tried your regfix for 64bit

started shortcut csgo from the desktop

then the screen went black for about 30/40 sec

 

what can I do next?

 

my specs are: wind 7 64bit sp1

amd phenom x3 3400 mhz

4gb ram

radeon hd5770 graph card

Open regedit and find all keys that contain "Steam" and delete them one by one.

Reset your PC.

Update / Install the game with Verify All checked.

Patch your game.

Finally i got the csgo menu screen loaded!
This is what I did :
After the black screen and invalid key I did the unthinkable: installing steam logged in and let it update.
Closed steam.
Than I run regfix 64 bit.
Started junkiesclient again patch with verified on and waited.

Junkiesclientmenu is still open
Than started it from the shortcut.
Only problem Is in the csgo menu is:
missing vgui material vgui maps menu thumb...

 

Just click it the window away and open the community server.

select and play!

My experience is yes .

I have windows 7 64bit and the regkey64bit (from guide v08) worked only after installing steam( logged in and let it update)

you have to close steam then and then use the regkey.

after that start css junkies and patch.

that is the problem , win 64 bit requires one more registry key involving another dll that i have asked Smartplay to add .Lets see if he adds that dll i will update my regfix  for that dll .Else u will have to install steam .

Nking, with the X64reg key and steam installed it works very fine

I also port forwarded (udp & tcp) 3478, 3479-3478, 27000-27050 on my router

are there any more ports to forward?

Nope, still doesnt work mate. i tried with steam installed and then used your regfix and yes i did edit the location for steamclient.dll in the regfix for x64

i am getting the blackscreen from day one lol

i have already tried closing steam, using regfix and then patching but i get the black screen. i'll try without patching now

Do you have dotnet 4.5, direct x etc. (see guide 08)

the guide says dot net is already installed on win8. i'll try to reinstall it again

i have the c++ redistributables installed from 2005-2012

as i said in first post, i have good graphics card that i can play games such as crysis and maxpayne 3 on high/ultra settings. csgo should not be a problem

 

Can you kindly tell me the exact steps you did to play it properly? like when should i install steam? first then use patch or vice versa etc 

 

i'll give it one last go, if it doesnt work then i will just give up :/

 

edit: .net gave the error that its already installed.

I ended up downloading a different version of csgo and that works for me. just install and play, no errors, no need to patch or verify etc

I know what version you have downloaded and that is old version and you'll be able to play only on their Russian servers.

yes i agree with you but still playing on some russian servers is better than a black screen lol

 

btw why dont you try to implement what they did in your client? i am no expert but from what i have read blackscreen = error in client.dll so why dont you also generate the client.dll using that method?

 

btw i used the other version's client.dll on your csgo and didnt work lol

I'm sorry where can I get this regfix 64 you speak of? I have the black screen but have no Idea what steps you are talking about with the regfix.
