I dont know what's wrong with update 51. hl.exe stops working before get in the game.

U have uninstalled game and the i have installed game and update 51 but still same problem.

This is really true css works better without update 51 but not properly...

It's sometime working with old updates but need to change PatchVersion=1.0.0.69 to PatchVersion=1.0.0.70 at steam.

So i need help pls...

After update 51 hl2.exe crashed several times in game and on main menu screen. Than i start crushing on "source" logo. no changes since than. Checked game but no bad files. This also occurred on update 50 until like 4 days before update 51. It suddenly start working , server list and all. And now again with this update i face same problem. I heard somebody sad console problem. What can be done about that?

today crashed with Vista 64bit CSS Logo ! last day can playing !

Yes update 51 crashes and gives hl2.exe error. Im gonna wait for update 52 to solve this.

Yeah, patch 51 works unstable. It seems to be easy to crash. It made CSS crash even pressing Refresh in Server List. Patch 47 worked perfectly before the patch 50 and 51 released. I didn't have to update these patches from 48 to 50 except the patch 51. I think we're waiting SmartPlay release the patch 51 Plus to fix the game problems. I thought the crash has occurred in the game since the patch 48 was released. At that time, the server didn't have any new update.

Rev-crew are working on new emu update. It should be ready these few days.
