Well it is not the update. You should do what it says. Go in cstrike folder and delete addons folder.

Then try again.

I have an problem i have load the 2011 Orangebox client from cs:s, and have downlaod the 36 patch and now if i want to join a server there stand Steam Validadtion rejected, what i can do there to fix it?

but is propable my friend can play the server who stand "Steam Valid Rejected" and im not :) we two have the same client+patcher and version of them

you dont have read it really or? my friend has too nonsteam the same client +patcher 36 and can play the server where stand "Steam validation rejected" and i cant play the servers.

Is it possible that your has original steam running in the background?

I guess your friend have Steam so he can join both kinds of servers. Your version is a non-Steam, so that's why you can join only non-Steam servers.

I have'd installed Update 37 and i was playing for a 1 month and now i run game and join to some server i got message "You are running the older version of server" i tryed to reinstall but it dont work is it some new patch? please HELP! :(

Wait for a new patch, we are waiting for new RevEmu, cuz old one crash game. When it'll be ready we'll release update.

I also wrote it after installing the patch 37 "The server you are trying to connect to is running a newer version of the game." :(

People, like we already said there is new update that we made but we are waiting for new emulator.
