You can do that:
1. Enter registry by pressing WIN+R and typing "regedit"

2. Click on Computer from top of the list at left side and press ctrl+f.
3. This is searcher. Type in there just Global.
4. You got it. Just now delete it and reinstall Steam version or there is way to repair game files in Steam.
