I used _setti from rinru and updated with the Junkies commulative patch (latest) the thing is, whenever i try to join it says "Xmap.bsp differs from server" i tried to delete the map and download the servers one to no avail.

 

Aren't Setti distro, clean no updates, and the commulative patch compatible? or am i doing anything wierd? i noticed ALL my folders [from hl.exe on] are as ReadOnly [god knows why].

 

Why i downloaded settis and not junkies, you might ask? because:

 

1) the bittorrent community doesnt share, so is slow as ***k

2) the http links are slow as hell to my country. i get +5hrs to download 1.30GB (when i normally take around.. 5, 10mins... TOPS)

Well the problem is that the updates only work for our release. The same is with setti. Their updates only work with their release.

So download our release and you shouldn't have any problems with the updates.

We made new release with all of the updates.

So our updates don't have some files that are in settis release because we already have them included in our new release.

 

We made this so the patches would be smaller in size.

Also, my speed package is 5MB/s, yes.. Megabytes and not megabits. the problem is with the otherside of the tunnel, aka.. pigzio is slow. and btw, all links are dead now;

pigzio is not slow. It is just mirroring service. Pigzio takes you to depositfiles, megaupload, rapidhsare, etc etc.

Anyway, I checked the torrent file, just to be sure and there ware about 60 seeders and the speed immediately went to 2MB :D

I have a new problem, thought. All Servers are asking for the consistency of models/weapons/w_c4_planted.mdl (once again) i deleted it to download one form your MEGA server to no avail.

should i open a new thread?

This happens if you entered on some "bad" server.
