Posted July 11, 201311 yr comment_12143 First of all let me start by saying that this team is making a really good job with the CS:GO client, and i want to give my personal congrats to all the people involved ;) Starting by the beginning of my problem, i tried following a tutorial to download maps via steam workshop to the junkies client CS:GOhttp://forum.planetcss.com/topic/1576-how-to-download-maps-from-steam-workshop-with-non-steam-csgo/ The problem is that it din't work, i followed all the steps correctly and still i got a black screen and then a crash. I tough, "im going to forget that and just play the game", i closed steam, after deleting the freshly created shortcut on the library, problem is that when i tried opening it via the junkiesclient.exe it didn't work and i got the same thing again, blackscreen and crash. I tried fixing it, i tried to update the game, giving me a error that i didn't have enough space at the disk. then i tried to patch it, and it gave me a error, something about steam.dll being blocked, or without permission or something. I tough that steam ad created it when i tried to follow the tutorial, so i just deleted steam.dll. I tried patching again and now i get:File config.vdf downloaded.Successfully created interfaces. No cached credential found for account. The same thing happens when i try to update the game. What should i do? Thank you.Kenny
July 11, 201311 yr comment_12150 What kind of error is showing you after that bs?And do you marking "veryfi all"? It may work for your Junkies Client problem. Paste it in D:\Program Files\Junkies Client\steamapps: http://www.mediafire.com/download/cupho1hvicddes2/appmanifest_730.acf
July 11, 201311 yr comment_12165 Change the install location to something short like C:/csgo. You can set that from the junkies client Settings. Also if you are on Win 7 then completely disable UAC and you wont have any problems.

July 11, 201311 yr Author comment_12174 i fixed it :O the problem was on steam.dll i deleted it. the other one was being protected beacuse steam messed up with it. WARNING: when you create a shortcut for cs:go on steam and use the csgo.exe it will mess up your steam.dll, resulting in a blackscreen and crash. even with steam closed it will still happen. i fixed it by running junkies client installer and it installed the steam.dll again. thanks for your help and efforts people ^^

If you want to play non-Steam CS:GO, quit Steam completely, run the registry fix and start CSGO as normal
