there are two ways , but first you need to backup the patch files , just open up the files.lst file from junkies client location and back it up.Also backup your working copy of generated client.dll.

Then you can either use steamcmd to update the game by using it to download CSGO DS . Or you can copy the Junkies Client/depotcache folder to steam folder and the SteamApps folder to steam folder . Then you can use steam to update the game. After updating you need to put the patch backup back into the game folder then run the game from shortcut and enjoy.

Now Steam updated it to 1.23.1.4.

Yeah steam games update every day, last time i never updated one game in a week and now the update size is 2.8gb o_o

I tried updating it on steam after that I dont know how to patch it to play non-steam. Anyways thanks for all the answer Iam just gonna wait for a junkies version of csgo and stick to playing counter-strike source while waiting thanks again for the answers
