November 20, 201311 yr comment_15128 I managed to get it running on my Windows 8 but I can't change any of the game settings.. Whenever I try to change ANYTHING (be it resolution or even master voliume) the game crashes. Apparently the whole CS folder is "Read-Only" and unticking it on the main folder's properties (or any of the subfolders') doesn't seem to do anything at all.. it stays "Read-Only". Anyone comes up with a solution? Thanks.Sorry for doubleposting it but.. anyone ?

November 20, 201311 yr comment_15144 Who got "STEAM validation rejected" may use revemu to play on cracked servers. Just add files from archive to your root game dir. You need play with maunted image iz Z drive and CLOSED Steam clien. Run the game from revLoader.exe. Nick you may change in rev.ini file - "PlayerName=Your name". Soo selfish.If you wanted help, why didn't you just ask lolz? Just download the torrent, then download the patch and updater, install the torrent (1.31.1.0), then install the update, then install the patch. Once done you can play IF you have steam. If you don't want to play with steam simply download this  (by the way Terra uploaded ths file) file and copy all files in the right areas. Then once again install the update and the patch. Run as administrator, Revloader.exe.  Then your good to go!
