November 21, 201311 yr comment_15210 Windows 8 - still crash when changing settings. Offline with bots - Can't select any team, stuck at the Terrorrist and CT selection screen. Auto and Spectate button also not working. Have to force close the game :(

I'm a first timer, used the above instructions from step 3 onwards, as I had not installed the game prior to that. Runs like a charm. Totally playable. Running on Windows 7 x64, also used 64 bit version of OSF mount. playing on a c2d laptop on 8600M gt, with most/all settings low to medium. Also managed to change settings (invert mouse, sensitivity, turned off moust acceleration) without any crash. Played against bots only though. Did not try joining servers yet. Also, would appreciate it if someone could point me to some good servers. Again, thank you so much guys! You guys are awesome! Edit: would just like to add that after I exited the game myself, it closed down but I did get an error from windows saying that the application was unexpectedly shutdown. Maybe just a windows issue and nothing more.

November 21, 201311 yr comment_15215 jefediego, try this, This should fix your problem.To run game with steam, first run the revloader.exe file, then try and load the game from desktop. Ill try and think of ways of getting this to work. Until now try this, and just pray and hope it works :D Tnx a lot, later when I can take my other computer i'll try this and told ya if it works ^_^
