I AM VERY HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE THE FIRST WORKING PATCH FOR CS:GO

 

After 2 months of working I finally managed to break this game. Now I can sleep at night. I reached my goal.

I would like to say thanks to all members on this forum that gave me their support.

Update + Patch 1.31.6.1:

  • To play CS:GO you must have your Z drive mounted all time
  • YOU MUST USE: OSFMount and mount as HDD

IMPORTANT:

You need to create shortcut from JunkiesLoader.exe and put parameters like this!!!

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Counter-Strike Global Offensive Junkies\JunkiesLoader.exe" 730 ".\csgo.exe" -steam

hey man!! just downloaded this..i did everything correctly but when i launch i cant change video settings it just closes and when i play offline when i choose t or ct it automatically closes...I run on windows 8 intel core i5 Nvidia Geforce GT 630m with 4gb ram...HALP! reply ASAP PLEASE!

Yeah same here keyt. I think its a windows 8 thing, but I tried changing csgo.exe to windows7 compatability mode and it still doesn't work. not sure if the launcher changes that.

 

I found some posts where people said I should set cl_disablehtmlmotd to 1 but as soon as I type cl_ in console it also crashes. I tried changing it in config.cfg but I have no clue if that is in fact the one loaded by the game.

 

Also, some people said the multi core rendering is also a problem, but as keyt said, I can't disable it as the game crashes immediately when I click apply on game settings.

to keep it simple, maybe it really insn't compatible with Windows 8... you guys should really change back to Windows 7.. Windows 8 is really full of problems and incompatilbity, also, Windows 8 insn't recommended OS for gaming...
