Try opening the mounted drive and see if it opens properly. If it doesn't, that might be your problem. (for the black screen problem)

EDIT : i think you do a launcher with check of systeme x86 or x64 and launch .img with osfmount.com (command line) and launch the game ! When u quit the game it's unmount .img !!

That is fine. Your mounting is fine as you can open the mounted drive. Tell me this, You get the error then it closes? or error, then black screen then close? :/

And, The failed to set video mode might be your resolution problem. What is your screen resolution?

I told him to open the drive to check if it got mounted correctly. If it didn't, He would get an error message saying the drive is corrupt and if it did, He would see some empty folders which he did :D

 Files must be hidden or it's just folders to fool the game to think its a valid version (idk  :P, just guessing). It is like that for everyone no need to fiddle around with mount settings since its already fine.

I hate to say this, but you have to download that particular swf file again or the whole game :/ If you have the name of the swf file, I can send it to you seperately to save your time.

I am using Kaspersky Internet Security, but even if I shut it down, my game crash on team choose with bots on map or if I change the video settings. 

Though I things its sure to do with security, as when I closed my KIS, Windows firewall poped up for the permission for csgo.exe when the game crashed to desktop.

I did tried the game after giving the persmission and KIS not on. Still crashes :(

We can play the game with "No Bot" options. But when the round ends, it crash.

Hope there will be a patch to fix all this.

same problem, temp solution: use previous junkies dll (rename) and game works, but still crashing at 35 - 40 min of play.

THIS WORKS PERFECTLY I DOWNLOADED THE (first) PATCH and IT worked!!! But i dont know if the second patch works........ But Mine works.I love u SmartPlay!!!!

Yep smartplay was right it was the reinstall that had to be done to fix my "swf" problem, and no worries I already know about the parition 0 I figured it out a few months ago.

waseem, I don't get any error but when I open csgo.exe it appears blackscreen and close.

My problem. Windows 8 - not 8.1 though.

 

1. Installed the game

2. Installed the update

3. Installed the patch

4. Mounted junkies_csgo_image-1.6 as HDD, Read-only, Partition 0, Drive Z:

5. Steam logged-in

6. Ran CSGO from Desktop

7. Game works, menu showed up

8. Went to settings, changed some settings, Apply ----> crashed

9. Never mind with the settings I thought, straight playing Offline with bots

10. Loading finished, can't choose T or CT, Auto-select and Spectate button not working too. Have to force close the game.

11. I give up.

12. Waiting for reply from Smartplay or perhaps a new patch/fix

13. Seems impossible because Dreamhack 2013 is coming and they keep updating the game.

14. Notified my friend I wanted to buy CSGO after I finished my exam, using his credit card. He agreed.
