Then reinstall the game, install the update and on the end install patch.

I'm having the same problem in Win7 x64. OSFMount with the image file mounted on drive Z HDD mode, steam running... EDIT: Fixed it. If your OSFMount is telling you you have to format the drive before you can use it, just mount the partition individually instead of the whole image.

November 20, 201311 yr comment_15107 @Miguelitius Try opening Z drive and if it show a message about corrupted drive or something. Then the problem is with your mounting. To fix this I guess you forgot/didn't know about selecting partition right after selecting the img file on OSFmount. Thanks,Waseem

November 20, 201311 yr comment_15117 I managed to get it running on my Windows 8 but I can't change any of the game settings.. Whenever I try to change ANYTHING (be it resolution or even master voliume) the game crashes. Apparently the whole CS folder is "Read-Only" and unticking it on the main folder's properties (or any of the subfolders') doesn't seem to do anything at all.. it stays "Read-Only". Anyone comes up with a solution? Thanks.
