I don't really know what's causing your problem, maybe try redoing all the steps?Mine worked for both CD/DVD and HDD, the important thing is to use "Partition 0" in mounting the image file and setting it to drive Z

November 13, 201311 yr Author comment_14706 There is a little problem. I started making the new patch but I found out it is 2GB LOL. Valve is using the new vpk format and now the updates are stored in big vpk files so it is problematic to make update.
