:) sorry about my poor English and technology knowledge, but you can give me more details about changlog your patch? Torrent down speed is slow. And bots for cs 1.6? I am not sure about the bots. This is just clean working game extracted directly from steam.

I can't start game, I install exe file then install patch, I start game, it annouce the fail "

That is first time I see that message. Did you forget to close steam from background?

still have this problem. I don't install steam. In my registry, there is no valve. I'm sure my windows is clean and never install cs games and steams game before. This is information in your file "junkies-emu" :

It is different from yours. I run your game on Windows XP SP3 with core i3 ivybride and gpu HD 2500  :) , but it has annouced fatal error like i said you: Failed to initialize authentication interface . Exiting"

I think the problem is Registry, when i start other games CS on Internet --->> in my registry has valve ---->> then i start your CS, it runs. But when i uninstall all games and registry, i run your game and it appear fatal error :( . I want to run your game without run another game before, and no registry problems. Maybe the problem is your steam emu and loader.

The problem is not with the .ini or the log files - They are correct.

The two ini's that you have seen are different because the other version uses RevLoader and this one uses Junkies Loader.

 

The other version is working fine because it is the older version of the game. That version is most probably old build 4554 - Warzone version of CS 1.6 . That version works fine with windows upto 7 and comes with a fix for win 8/8.1 - so it works nicely.

This version is the new version of the game - after it was updated [after a long time ] to the new steamworks . And as you can see many genuine steam users are also having the same problem as you are ---- The reason is simple - the game is outdated and has not properly been updated and so is bugged .

 

So I will try to get this error - and if i get it -- i will post the fix here.,.,.

If you run the game from hl.exe - That error occurs.,

If you start the game from the patch's shortcut placed on desktop - The game works perfect.,.,.,

 

BTW try reinstalling both the game and the patch , and make sure you install them both at the same location ., And if problem still not fixed - try installing as Admin and Running as Admin,.,.,

WHaTT? I run game from loader and desktop but can't run game :( I must run another CS 1.6 before to get registry, then I run SmartPlay game, it runs :( The problem i think is registry. I will try to download CS Source new by SmartPlay and run it to look for the results. All of my friend who has not Valve or Steam file registry also have this problem. You can run it because you have another game of valve or steam with registry file in regedit, I think. If you clean the windows, don't install any games by valve and steam , you can run the game?

I was true, if you don't have registry first, you can't start game, please fix it. I try another CS 1.6 (build 6153) on Internet and it runs smoothly
